Provisional License
A provisional license permits a healthcare Provider to deliver care directly to patients residing in an overseas territory via our tele-health platform. This includes transmission of electronic prescriptions, lab and radiology requests to partner service providers on GoDocta.com.
A provisional license does not permit in-person care outside of the jurisdiction where a Provider holds a full license.
Example: “if you are fully licensed to practice only in Antigua and Barbuda; a Provisional License issued by a governing body in Saint Kitts and Nevis does not permit you to provide in-person care to patients in that country.”
Once approved by GoDocta.com, an overseas Provider may begin delivering care via our website using our Provider Bridge arrangement.
Meanwhile, the information submitted here will be forwarded to the local medical council in the territories where GoDocta tele-health services are offered. The decision of the local licensing authority supersedes any internal processes for approvals on GoDocta.
